FLINT, Mich - The Beecher Community School District will be getting electric school busses paid for by you the taxpayer. The $1.5 million grant to the district will enable the district to purchase five new electric school buses.
"Our parents and students rely on our school buses to get them safely to and from school. With this new funding, we will be able to replace our old fleet with cleaner electric vehicles and the charging infrastructure they need. We applaud Congressman Kildee for making this funding possible and appreciate his continued leadership to support the district," said Dr. Richard E. Klee, Superintendent, Beecher Community School District.
While the mainstream media may paint this news as being a great thing, there is a downside you need to know about.
