AUSTIN, TX - The Biden administration on Thursday threatened to sue Texas if it moves forward with a new anti-illegal immigration law signed this month by Gov. Greg Abbott – but the Republican governor says he is prepared to take the fight to the Supreme Court.

WASHINGTON D.C- President Joe Biden reportedly took his 418th vacation day on Wednesday to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands for New Year’s.

Biden had already spent 417 days (39 percent of his presidency) on vacation, according to the Republican National Committee’s Vacation Tracker.

NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. — Authorities in New York are asking for help finding the person responsible for a gruesome stabbing of a dog.

Two-year-old terrier mix Cornell was found with 17 stab wounds across his body in Long Island on Nov. 27, according to Nassau County officials. A woman found the dog bleeding along the road and took him to a local animal shelter, said District Attorney Anne Donnelly. The shelter took him to a veterinarian to be treated.

SANTA ANA, CALIF - Santa Ana police are investigating two armed robberies that took place in the city involving three men, including one who was possibly armed with a machete.

The first took place around 7 p.m. Wednesday night near a bike path on the 3000 block of W. Edinger Avenue.
