NEWS THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO SEE

LANSING, Mich - New energy laws will force Michigan residents to pay the equivalent of almost two additional mortgage payments each year.

What will people get in return? An energy policy that will have no measurable impact on the climate and make electricity less reliable.

DTE and Consumers Energy, on the other hand, are poised to profit.

Last year, Michigan’s legislature passed a package of laws in support of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s net-zero carbon emissions plan.

The new laws require Michigan to eliminate 100% of fossil-fuel-powered electricity generation by 2040 (given that what the law carves out as “clean” natural gas involves technology that has never been demonstrated). The laws also muddy regulatory criteria to include vaguely defined “environmental justice” concerns in approving utility plans and wipe out local communities’ ability to stop the construction of new wind and solar facilities. CHICAGO, IL - The Chicago Board of Elections revealed on Saturday that more than 10,000 ballots hadn't been included in previous vote totals by mistake, making unofficial counts lower than expected.

In a news release, a spokesperson for the CBOE explained that while adding up vote-by-mail ballots, he accidentally left out additional ballots that had been delivered by the U.S. Postal Service on Monday.

"I traded speed for accuracy in reporting out numbers this week as quickly as I could," spokesperson Max Bever said in a statement, in part. "I truly regret this error on my part and for the confusion that it has caused the voters of Chicago."

The 10,659 ballots in question were added to the unofficial vote count on Saturday, increasing the total of ballots cast in Chicago to 368,990. Voter turnout citywide was reported to be 24.44% out of 1,509,554 registered voters. Click here for more.

SEATTLE, WASH - A transgender-identifying male felon who murdered his parents was caught in a sexual encounter with a female inmate earlier this month at the formerly female-only prison in Washington State, where they are both housed.

On March 14, a corrections officer at the Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW), discovered 35-year-old Bryan Kim, who goes by Amber FayeFox Kim, having sexual intercourse with 25-year-old Sincer-A Marie Nerton, according to an incident reported obtained by National Review. WASHINGTON D.C. - Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) called out Democrats on Friday night after they opposed legislation that would protect American tax dollars from being spent on flights for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to be flown to cities across the country.

“Make no mistake here. President Biden has secretly been flying hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens in foreign countries into blue-city airports,” Hagerty said from the Senate floor. “Just last year alone, in 2023, it was reported that some 320,000 illegal aliens have been flown in using this method.”  Click here to read more.

WASHINGTON D.C. - 2024 Green Party candidate, Jasmine Sherman, who resembles very much — and I’m not being gratuitous here, just reporting objective facts — the morbidly obese king of the underwater creatures from Star Wars Episode I, only with purple hair — has big plans for the peasants in 2025 regarding resuscitated COVID lockdowns, masking, and vaxxing measures that would make the Brandon entity look like a civil libertarian. Michigan House Bill 5711, which would roll back the state’s clean energy mandates for utilities, has cleared the House Energy Committee and is headed to the full House for a vote. If approved there, it would move to the Senate for consideration.

🚨The Village of Birch Run, Michigan doesn’t record or live stream their public meetings. They’re not legally required to, but I think it would be something good to do for transparency. I talked to the village president who did not want to touch the issue.
