LANSING, Mich - One-third of Michiganders now depend on the state government for at least one form of financial assistance, according to the latest Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. The number has increased 30% since Gov. Gretchen Whitmer entered office.
Some 3.3 million people received benefits from at least one state program, according to the latest annual report from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. In the average month between October 2014 and September 2018, approximately 2.6 million people received benefits. Whitmer took office in January 2019. NEW YORK, NY - The New York City Council is begging an appellate court to authorize more than 800,000 foreign nationals to vote in the city’s municipal elections.
In January 2022, Democrats on the 51-member New York City Council approved an ordinance to give more than 800,000 foreign nationals with green cards, visas, and work permits the opportunity to vote in citywide elections so long as they have resided in the city for at least 30 consecutive days. NEW YORK, NY- A male volleyball coach at an all-girls New York high school took his own life by stepping in front of a train after being accused of raping a 15-year-old player, officials said.
Jason Maser, 22, was a part-time coach at the Sacred Heart Academy on Long Island when he allegedly raped the teen victim on at least two occasions in his vehicle on February 7 and March 7, the New York Post reported. Click link for more.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA - Fairfax County, Virginia, has named Easter Sunday 2024 as “Transgender Visibility Day,” in what many Christians see as a hijack of their most sacred holiday.
The Fairfax County School Board has added Transgender Visibility Day to its prior designations of June as LGBT Pride Month and October as LGBT History Month for a remarkable 62 days of LGBT celebration in the district’s schools. Click here for more.

DALLAS, TX - According to unofficial Border Patrol reports reviewed by Breitbart Texas, the number of migrants illegally crossing the southwest border between ports of entry surpassed the one million mark in less than the first six months of Fiscal Year 24. The milestone puts the Biden administration on pace for more than two million migrant apprehensions for the third consecutive year.
Breitbart Texas reviewed an unofficial Border Patrol report which revealed that the number of migrants apprehended after illegally crossing the U.S. border with Mexico exceeded the one-million mark by March 25th. The apprehension of just over one million migrants during the first six months of Fiscal Year 24, which began on October 1, 2023, falls just shy of the same period last year when agents apprehended nearly 1,057,000 migrants. The pace is also just slightly behind the pace of the record-setting FY22 report — a year that saw the apprehension of more than 2.2 million migrants.
