MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ - The Maricopa County Elections Department in Arizona said the global IT outage is impacting some voting locations, as early voting in statewide primaries rolls out.
The County Recorders office check in systems are not working and are being swaped out with stand by equipment. As of now 14 of the 41 voting centers are operating, the remainder of them are not running.

A global tech outage on Friday was caused by a faulty software update, The Associated Press reported. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike issued the update, which affects computers running Microsoft Windows.
The outage has caused issues for hospitals, taken media outlets and banks offline, and grounded flights.
