AFGHANISTAN - The Taliban paraded billions of dollars worth of American military hardware around the streets of Afghanistan on Wednesday near the U.S.’s former airbase inside the country.
The Islamic extremist group, which is not recognized by any country as being the legitimate government of Afghanistan, touted U.S. military vehicles, helicopters, and weapons at the parade at Bagram air base.
The Department of Defense Inspector General said in a report a year after Afghanistan’s fall that the Biden-Harris Administration left behind “U.S.-funded equipment valued at $7.12 billion”, which fell into the Taliban’s hands, including “military aircraft, ground vehicles, weapons, and other military equipment.” Click here to read more.

WASHINGTON D.C. - Every day this month I have promised myself, “Okay, that’s it — I’m done warping my brain by writing about the vibes election for a while. I’m just gonna keep whupping on commies.” And then almost immediately the Harris campaign will present us with some grander, escalatory insanity. The ratchet aspect is in some ways at the core of this whole circus: How much more insane can it get?
Donald Trump’s campaign has all the alertness, agility, and quick-response reflexes of a stunned yak. Kamala Harris’s campaign, meanwhile, is successfully destroying the boundary between political narrative and political reality — with the assistance of the mainstream media, who are hurtling, happy and headlong, into their own professional graves, whether they realize it or not.
One wonders if the Harris campaign’s newest move might give her acquiescent media collaborators a moment’s pause: Axios reveals this morning that, no longer content merely to rewrite her own past, Kamala Harris’s alarmingly arrogant campaign has now taken to rewriting the mainstream media’s past headlines about her as well. WASHINGTON D.C. - U.S. House Oversight Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., launched an investigation Wednesday into allegations that Google and Meta, formerly known as Facebook, censored or misrepresented content about President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Comer sent letters to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google CEO Sundar Pichai Wednesday over the alleged censorship, which grabbed national attention after the near-fatal assassination attempt against Trump in Butler County, Pennsylvania July 13.
How Google and Facebook handled questions and searches about the assassination attempt against Trump sparked criticism. Click here to read more.

LANSING, Mich - After recent filings revealed electric battery producer Gotion receives subsidies from the Chinese Communist Party, state Sen. Lana Theis called on Michigan government officials to cease subsidizing the company’s $2.4 billion dollar project in central Michigan.
“I can’t say I am surprised that Gotion was caught in this lie, but I can most certainly say I am once again disappointed by the company’s shady business practices and the insistence from our governor that they build a taxpayer-funded mega site in our state,” Theis, R-Brighton, said. “Time and time again, the company has proven they can’t be trusted, and I am once again calling on the state to end all agreements with Gotion and ensure not one more dime of taxpayer money reaches their pockets.” Click here to read more.

LANSING, Mich - Realtors nationwide are bracing for major changes in how they do business.
On August 17, new rules will take effect that overhaul the way real estate agents get paid to help people buy and sell homes.
The changes are part of a $418 million settlement announced in March by the National Association of Realtors.
The changes scrap informal rules that propped up the industry’s traditional payment structure.
Up until now, home sellers typically had to pay a 5% or 6% commission.
Going forward, buyers’ agents must discuss their compensation upfront.
They will have to enter into a written agreement with a prospective home buyer before touring a property together.
This agreement is designed to inform buyers they are responsible for paying their own realtors if a seller chooses not to cover the cost. Click here to read more.
