CHICAGO, IL - President Joe Biden’s speech at the Democratic National Convention was forced out of primetime on Monday night at what was supposed to be a convention focused on his re-election campaign before his party pressured him to drop out of the race.

Biden being forced out of primetime — 8 p.m. EST to 11 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday — after he gave up the nomination, despite winning all the delegates during the primary, became the top story of the night as many expressed shock at the utter disrespect that he was shown.

“If Biden is pushed back past prime time, it will be treated as a) a major story of the first night and b) a serious slight to the President,” said ABC News political analyst Jeff Greenfield. Click here to read more.

LONDON - The head of London England’s Metropolitan Police Force is threatening to extradite Americans and arrest them for saying things he doesn’t like.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “Oh, Klavan, you elfin merchant of merriment, how on earth do you always manage to reach into your imaginational grab-bag of zany jocularity and pull up such mirthful gems of goofi-tudinous effervescence as the absurdly hilarious idea that a police commissioner in a country whose imperial army we kicked in the bum so hard it flew all the way back to their tiny irrelevant island of funny-talking homosexuals, would be crazy not to mention stupid enough to take time out from watching through his office window as a once-great nation of free Englishmen devolves into a violent hell-hole of teen-raping, machete-wielding, bomb-blasting Muslim extremists, in order to threaten a United States of individuals who seriously cannot fart in his face loud enough to express our disdain for him and his now-crappy little country?”

But no, so help me, I am not making this up. Click here to read more.

DETROIT, Mich - A strike against a Detroit automaker might be looming after the United Auto Workers union said it was prepared to file grievances over a failure to honor its contract.

When the UAW secured a deal with Stellantis in 2023, it secured a right to strike if the automaker failed to keep its investment commitments, including keeping an assembly plant in Illinois open.

The deal included keeping the Belvidere Assembly running after it was idled earlier in the year. Since the UAW's contract was ratified, Stellantis "has gone back" on promises at the facility, while also being "receptive in talks with the union" to stay open, the union's website said.

"This company made a commitment to autoworkers at Stellantis in our union contract, and we intend to enforce that contract to the full extent," said UAW President Shawn Fain. "On behalf of autoworkers everywhere, we’re standing up against a company that wants to go back on its commitments and drive a race to the bottom at the expense of the American worker."  Click here to read more.

🚨The Village of Birch Run, Michigan doesn’t record or live stream their public meetings. They’re not legally required to, but I think it would be something good to do for transparency. I talked to the village president who did not want to touch the issue.
