We must never forget 9-11

LANSING, Mich - A Michigan lawmaker is aiming to ban the sale of lab-grown meats statewide.

Rep. Jim DeSana, R-Carleton, introduced House Bill 5879 in June. The bill is now before the House Agriculture Committee.

“This is about protecting our ranchers and about protecting the integrity of our food supply,” DeSana said. “This is also about protecting your right to provide food for yourself and your family.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture approved the sale of what it called “cell-cultivated meat” last year.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation to ban lab-grown meat in May, becoming the first governor to do so.

DeSana’s bill in the Michigan Legislature defines “cultivated meat” as “a meat or meat product that was produced from cultured animal tissue produced from in vitro animal cell cultures outside of the animal from which the cells were derived.” Click here to read more.

COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced this week that he has directed officials to begin reviewing ways to stop the Biden-Harris administration from sending large numbers of migrants to communities in the state amid backlash that is brewing over tens of thousands of Haitian illegal aliens who have been brought to a small town in the state.

The move comes in response to Springfield, a town of less than 60,000 residents, being flooded with approximately 20,000 Haitian illegal aliens over the last few years, leading to a variety of problems and rapid deterioration of the town.

“This is absurd – Springfield has swollen by more than a third due to migrants,” Yost said. “How many people can they be expected to take? What are the limits to the federal government’s power? Could the federal government simply funnel into Ohio all the millions of migrants flooding in under the current administration’s watch?” Click here to read more.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration in a letter on Monday demanding information from the Biden-Harris administration surrounding anyone believed to be a non-citizen in Florida’s voter rolls.

Communications director Bryan Griffin said “illegal aliens will not vote in Florida.”

“Florida will continue to identify and insist on the removal of non-citizens from Florida voter rolls ahead of the 2024 election,” he said.

The letter was sent by the Florida Department of State to an official at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

“Noncitizens cannot vote in Florida elections,” the letter stated.

It said that the department “must also take affirmative steps to ‘remove registrants who are ineligible to vote,'” including illegal aliens. Click here to read more.

NEW YORK, NY - Vice President Kamala Harris will meet former President Donald Trump for a debate hosted by ABC News, and she could not have chosen a friendlier forum for their first encounter. A new study by the Media Research Center finds that, of the Big Three evening newscasts, ABC’s World News Tonight — run by debate moderator David Muir — has been the most positive towards Harris and the most hostile to Trump.

MRC analysts reviewed all 100 campaign stories that aired on ABC’s World News Tonight from the day Harris entered the race (July 21) through September 6, including weekends. Our analysts found 25 clearly positive statements about Harris from reporters, anchors, voters or other non-partisan sources, with zero negative statements — none. That computes to a gravity-defying 100% positive spin score for the Vice President. DALLAS, TX - If what appears to be happening in the video below is actually being suggested and advised, there will certainly be questions as to methods and tactics being employed in getting out the vote.

A video circulating on social media, that reportedly took place on August 24, shows an election worker in Dallas County, Texas advising others to register homeless people to vote using a local church’s address.

It sounds like the election worker is telling others to use the address of a church that homeless people sleep outside of as their own address on voter registration forms. Click here to read more.

Michigan House Bill 5711, which would roll back the state’s clean energy mandates for utilities, has cleared the House Energy Committee and is headed to the full House for a vote. If approved there, it would move to the Senate for consideration.

🚨The Village of Birch Run, Michigan doesn’t record or live stream their public meetings. They’re not legally required to, but I think it would be something good to do for transparency. I talked to the village president who did not want to touch the issue.
