Merry CHRISTmas, one and all!

As we gather around this special time of year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've shared, especially since I decided to step away from the mainstream media to forge my own path in independent journalism. This leap of faith was not just my own; it was made possible by each and every one of you.

This Christmas, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your support, your trust, and your belief in the mission we've embarked upon together. Your engagement and support have been nothing short of a blessing, truly a gift that I cherish deeply.

In this season that celebrates the birth of Jesus, I am reminded of the values of love, peace, and community. These values are what drive me to bring you the truth, unfiltered and unadulterated, just as it should be. Your presence in this journey has been a testament to the power of collective faith and the strength that comes from standing together for what we believe in.

I thank God for the opportunity to do what I love and for placing all of you in my path. Your support has not only made this venture possible but has also enriched my life in ways I could never have imagined.

May your Christmas be filled with joy, your homes with laughter, and your hearts with peace. Let us continue to share the light and truth, spreading the love that this season embodies.

Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Merry Christmas, and may God bless you all.

With heartfelt thanks,

Dave

SACRAMENTO, CALIF - A California judge has ordered that inmate Tremaine Carroll must be referred to by “she/her” pronouns because he has declared himself to be a woman and “deserves dignity.”

Carroll is on trial for allegedly impregnating one female inmate and raping two others after he claimed to be a woman — which, according to California law, requires him to be housed in a women’s prison despite having no psychological or medical evaluations to back up his claim — and a Madera County judge has now ordered everyone, including his alleged victims, to accommodate his pronoun choice.

Madera District Attorney Sally Moreno charged Carroll with rape, which he allegedly committed while he was incarcerated at Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla — where he was placed based solely on his self-identification as a woman.

“After his first cellmate became pregnant and was moved to Los Angeles, two other cellmates of his had complained that he had raped them, so we have filed rape charges against this inmate,” Moreno said. Click here to read more.

ATLANTA. GA - A Delta Air Lines passenger expressed frustration after being asked to relinquish their first class seat to a dog, sparking a heated discussion on social media.

"I got upgraded to first this morning, only to 15 mins later get downgraded (to a worse seat than I previously had)," the passenger, using the handle @ben_bob, wrote on Reddit. "I asked the desk agent what was going on and she said 'something changed.'"

The passenger boarded the flight only to find a dog occupying the first-class seat they had been assigned, according to New York Post.

After reaching out to Delta Support, the passenger was informed that human passengers might be relocated to accommodate service animals and that there was "nothing they can do" in such situations.

One user on reddit commented, “I saw so many service dog vests flying yesterday. Like every other person had a service dog. It’s so out of control." Click here to read more.

WASHINGTON D.C. - President-elect Donald Trump pledged on Tuesday to “vigorously pursue” the death penalty for the country’s most heinous criminals after President Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 37 individuals on federal death row convicted of murder, child killings and other heinous acts.

“As soon as I am inaugurated, I will direct the Justice Department to vigorously pursue the death penalty to protect American families and children from violent rapists, murderers, and monsters,” Trump said on Truth Social. “We will be a Nation of Law and Order again!”

Biden announced Monday, that the sentences of 37 of the 40 prisoners will have their sentences reclassified from execution to life without the possibility of parole. Click here to read more.

LANSING. Mich - Michigan taxpayers gave General Motors $600 million to create thousands of jobs at an Ultium Cells battery plant near Lansing, now they’re waiting to see if a South Korean company fulfills that obligation.

GM announced earlier this month it’s backing out of the joint venture with LG Energy Solution that was funded in part by the largest taxpayer incentive package in state history, but neglected to mention it already pocketed the cash.

“State records obtained by The Detroit News indicate the entire performance-based grant was paid out by the Michigan Treasury Department to GM and its partner in an EV battery plant between June and September 2023, more than a year before the Detroit automaker announced Dec. 2 that it would sell its stake in the Lansing area battery plant that had received part of the grant,” the news site reports. SACRAMENTO, CALIF — Two alleged shoplifters figured out the hard way retail crime is now a felony in California under Proposition 36.

California’s Seal Beach Police shared video on social media of an exchange between two suspects sitting in the back of a squad car where one realizes repeat offenders of retail theft can now face felony charges.

“That’s a felony?” the female suspect asked, referring to retail theft.

“B—-, new laws. Stealing is a felony,” the other replied, adding, “And this is Orange County, b—-. They don’t play.”

Police captioned the post “Remember folks, Don’t Steal in Seal,” and they said the “new proposition only strengthens our commitment to combating Organized Retail Theft.”

Police also released video surveillance from several locations, including a Kohl’s and an Ulta store, that the suspects visited. Click here to read more.

NEW YORK, NY - Tom Homan, President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming border czar, slammed Democrats on Monday after an illegal alien allegedly murdered a woman on the subway in New York City by lighting her on fire over the weekend.

The 33-year-old illegal alien is a Guatemalan national who previously was deported by the Trump administration just days after he illegally crossed the border in 2018. It is unknown when and where he illegally re-entered the U.S.

“This is another example of an illegal alien killing an American citizen. It’s almost a daily occurrence now,” Homan said. “You know, because a historic number of criminal aliens are walking the streets because of this administration’s policy and sanctuary jurisdictions and lax immigration enforcement.”

Homan said that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has tied the hands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, preventing them from arresting and removing illegal aliens unless they’ve already been convicted of a serious crime. Click here to read more.

WASHINGTON D.C. - The federal government wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on a number of absurd and bizarre projects, including securing the Paraguayan border, studies on lonely rats and their relationship to cocaine, and “various magical projects.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Monday released his annual Festivus report chock-full of grievances after another year of incredibly wasteful spending. This year, he is highlighting over $1 trillion in government waste.

“Who’s to blame for our crushing national debt? Everybody. This year, members of both political parties in Congress voted for massive spending bills, filled with subsidies for underperforming industries, continued military aid to Ukraine, and controversial climate initiatives,” Paul wrote in the report.

“As Congress spends to reward its favored pet projects, the American taxpayers are forced to pay through high prices and crippling interest rates,” he continued before highlighting some of the most egregious examples of waste.

“So, before we get to the Feats of Strength, it’s time for my Airing of (spending) Grievances!” the senator exclaimed. Click here to read more.

WASHINGTON D.C. - Car manufacturer Kia has continued to stonewall following a Daily Caller News Foundation report on the company's ties to a nonprofit that distributes LGBTQ-themed books to children.

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network's (GLSEN) Rainbow Library — a program that provides teachers with free children's books which propagate transgender ideology — prominently listed Kia as a co-sponsor on its website as recently as Tuesday. However, Kia has since been removed from the Rainbow Library's sponsors page after a spokesperson for the carmaker denied in a statement Tuesday that it sponsored the nonprofit in 2023 or 2024 and subsequently failed to respond to eight follow-up inquiries from the DCNF sent between Tuesday, Dec. 17, and Monday, Dec. 23.

In the several follow-up emails sent to Kia, the DCNF asked if the carmaker had requested GLSEN remove it from the Rainbow Library donors page and if it had falsely stated it was not a 2023-2024 school year Rainbow Library sponsor. Click here to read more.

President Joe Biden commuted the sentences of 37 men who were found guilty of committing brutal murders, including children and families.

The White House announced Monday that Biden would be commuting all but three men on death row, reclassifying their sentences “from execution to life without the possibility of parole.” Some of those listed were sentenced to death after being charged with gory mass murders and raping women before killing them. “Make no mistake: I condemn these murderers, grieve for the victims of their despicable acts, and ache for all the families who have suffered unimaginable and irreparable loss,” a statement from the president reads.

“But guided by my conscience and my experience as a public defender, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Vice President, and now President, I am more convinced than ever that we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level. In good conscience, I cannot stand back and let a new administration resume executions that I halted,” the statement continues. Click here to read more.

COSTA MESA, CALIF - United States Postal Service (USPS) supervisor was arrested Thursday after allegedly stealing more than 20 checks, totaling over $281,000.

Joivian Tjuana Hayes, a worker at the Costa Mesa Post Office in California, allegedly stole numerous checks, including one for more than $114,000 and allegedly deposited them into her account, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.

Officials said the checks contained forged signatures and surveillance footage allegedly caught the 36-year-old depositing the checks at ATM machines scattered throughout the cities of Costa Mesa, Compton, and Fountain Valley. Hayes allegedly began depositing the checks in July 2024.

The post officer supervisor is also accused of stealing “tens of thousands of dollars in currency and gold coins” from mail that went through the Costa Mesa Post Office, the attorney’s office said.

Federal agents searched Hayes’ Compton residence and her 2023 BMW vehicle Thursday.

Hayes faces one count of bank fraud, for which she could face a maximum of 30 years in federal prison in convicted, officials said. Click here to read more.

Biden Commutes Death Sentence of Man Who Tortured and Murdered Michigan Woman and is suspect in her daughter's death.
Biden also commuted the death sentences of 36 similar convicted criminals

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – In a move that has sparked both outrage and praise, President Joe Biden has commuted the death sentence of Marvin Gabrion, Michigan’s only federal death-row inmate, to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. The decision is part of Biden’s sweeping commutation of 37 federal death row inmates’ sentences during his final month in office.

Gabrion, 71, was convicted of the 1997 first-degree murder of Rachel Timmerman, a 19-year-old woman whose brutal killing shocked the community. Two days before she was set to testify in Newaygo County Circuit Court that Gabrion had raped her, she disappeared along with her 11-month-old daughter, Shannon.

Prosecutors believe Gabrion lured Timmerman out under false pretenses, restrained her with tape, handcuffs, and chains, and threw her into Oxford Lake in the Manistee National Forest. Her body was found weeks later, submerged with a cinderblock attached. Shannon’s body was never recovered.

Federal prosecutors have described the case as one of "utter depravity." Gabrion’s trial revealed that he is suspected of killing three other individuals: John Weeks, who allegedly helped lure Timmerman to her death; Wayne Davis, a witness to Gabrion’s earlier crimes; and Robert Allen, a mentally disabled man whose Social Security checks were stolen. All three men disappeared under suspicious circumstances linked to Gabrion.

Click here to learn more about the other death row inmates President Biden gave a lifeline.

In 2002, a federal jury sentenced Gabrion to death—the only such case in Michigan, a state that has long abolished the death penalty at the state level. The case was tried in federal court because the murder occurred on federal land. Despite multiple appeals, the courts upheld the death sentence, with the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals calling the crime “utterly depraved.”

President Biden's moratorium on federal executions, issued in 2021, prevented Gabrion’s execution. In justifying the commutations, Biden stated he opposes the death penalty except in cases of terrorism or hate-motivated mass murder. The White House further explained that the decision was made to prevent the incoming Trump administration from resuming executions.

The move has drawn intense criticism from victims' families and law enforcement. Rachel Timmerman’s family expressed deep disappointment, arguing that the commutation denies the full measure of justice for her brutal killing and the enduring pain caused by the unresolved disappearance of her infant daughter.

“Rachel’s life was taken in the most horrific way imaginable, and now the justice that her family fought for has been taken as well,” a family spokesperson said.

Supporters of Biden’s decision, including the Equal Justice Initiative, lauded the commutations as a step toward ending what they call a flawed and inequitable death penalty system. “This decision marks an important turning point,” said Bryan Stevenson, the organization’s founder, adding that it “sends a strong message about our values as a nation.”

Gabrion will serve the rest of his life in federal prison, housed at the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri. Critics argue that life without parole is insufficient punishment for crimes of such brutality, while advocates maintain it eliminates the moral and logistical complications of capital punishment.

As Biden’s presidency comes to an end, the decision adds to his legacy as the president who has commuted more federal sentences than any predecessor. However, for families like the Timmermans, the decision is a painful reminder of justice unfulfilled.
