WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a startling development, FBI Director Kash Patel has declassified and delivered an internal intelligence report to Congress that alleges China orchestrated a covert operation in 2020 to influence the U.S. presidential election by flooding the voter system with fraudulent mail-in ballots.

Electric Car Push Flops: Michigan Needed 2 Million EVs, Got Just 82,000

LANSING, Mich - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s electric vehicle revolution is 4.12% of the way toward its goal.

In 2021, Whitmer promised an electric future for Michigan and sought tax breaks toward that end.

“As the auto industry zooms toward an electric future, we need to lower the up-front cost,” the governor posted on social media. “In my budget, I proposed cutting the sales tax on EVs, saving families up to $2,400. Getting this done will get more Michiganders behind the wheel of their first electric vehicle.”

This State Tried to Force a Christian Photographer to Work Same-Sex Weddings – A Judge Said 'Nope'

NEW YORK, NY - A federal judge has blocked the state of New York from forcing a Christian photographer to work same-sex weddings, which goes against her religious beliefs.

US District Judge Frank P. Geraci Jr. of the District Court for the Western District of New York granted Emilee Carpenter, the photographer, a preliminary injunction shielding her from being compelled to violate her religious beliefs.

Carpenter owns and operates a wedding photography business in New York. Attorney General Letitia James’s office took action to compel her to service same-sex weddings, which prompted Carpenter to file the lawsuit. Click here to read more.

 

Michigan Republicans introduce vaccine choice bills, cite declining trust in public health

LANSING, Mich - Republican lawmakers gathered Tuesday at the Capitol to back a package of bills aimed at protecting vaccine choice and limiting the authority of state and local health departments. Speakers at the press conference said legislation is needed to restore trust in public health and keep the government out of personal medical decisions.

“If you want to be vaccinated, if you choose to be vaccinated, that’s your choice,” said Rep. Jim DeSana, R-Carleton. “But if you choose to want to not be vaccinated, that should be your choice as well.”

DeSana is the lead sponsor of House Bill 4475, which would make it illegal to discriminate based on vaccination status in areas like employment, education, housing, and access to public services. Study Shows How Many Times Cable News Outlets Referred To Violent L.A. Riots As ‘Peaceful’

A study published on Friday revealed just how many times reporters and anchors on cable news outlets CNN and MSNBC referred to the violent protests and riots in Los Angeles as “peaceful.”

The Media Research Center (MRC) evaluated coverage of the protests — targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and attempting to prevent them from carrying out raids — on the two major left-leaning cable networks ranging from June 7 to June 11, 5:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. ET. Long Island teen inspired by local slain Navy SEAL hero overcomes paralysis — and now wants to join up

A paralyzed teenage Long Island wrestler says he took inspiration from a local fallen Navy SEAL to recover — and now hopes to follow in his hero’s footsteps and join the elite unit.

Finn Schiavone, 16, of Bay Shore suffered a traumatic brain injury in the eighth grade after accidentally being tossed off a wrestling mat and into a heating pipe, leading to the nightmare that no kid or parent would ever want to face.

“I wasn’t able to walk, I could barely talk, I lost lots of my vision. …I wasn’t able to do school and was focusing on basic life skills like counting to 10,” Finn recently told The Post.

Michigan city spying on residents trash.

HOLLAND, Mich - The city of Holland spied on some residents’ recycling bins for eight weeks in an attempt to keep inappropriate materials out of the bins.

Holland deployed “high-tech cameras, global positioning systems, and computers” to analyze the containers, reads a May 2024 article posted on the city website.

“Holland has partnered with Republic Services and Prairie Robotics to utilize their technology, high-tech cameras, global positioning systems, and computers on recycling trucks used in the city,” a spokesperson for the city wrote. “This technology will scan loads dumped into the recycling trucks and be able to recognize contaminants, such as Styrofoam, plastic bags, or trash. Free Palestine’ Brick Thrown Through Window Of Kosher Grocery Store In Boston Area

The owner of a kosher grocery store in the Boston-area is speaking out after a brick with “Free Palestine” on it was thrown through his business’s window Saturday night.

The owner of The Butcherie, Gil Zilberberg, said a brick was thrown through the window of his store in Brookline—a Boston suburb with a large Jewish population— by masked men early around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

“This is an attack on the Jewish people of Boston,” Zilberberg told The Daily Wire. “Nobody should be fearful of coming to get kosher food.”

Surveillance footage obtained by The Daily Wire shows a group of masked vandals behind and beside the store before one of them runs up and hurls a brick through a map displaying winery locations in Israel. The group quickly ran away down the street. Police are investigating the incident, but no one has been apprehended. Click here to read more.

 

Louisiana Police: Armed Robbery Suspect Hospitalized After Being Shot by Store Clerk

An alleged armed robber was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot by a New Iberia, Louisiana, store clerk Thursday night.

KLFY indicated the suspect entered the store around 10:30 p.m. armed with a “cutting instrument” and made his way behind the counter to allegedly commit a robbery.

A struggle ensued and the clerk shot the suspect.

KATC noted that officers arrived and found the alleged robber “with at least one gunshot wound.” He was taken to a nearby hospital then airlifted to a second hospital in critical condition.

The New Iberia Police Department reported that “the names of the individuals involved are not being released at this time” and noted that an investigation into the incident continues.

More than 4,000 students once crowded DuSable High School, then an all-Black academic powerhouse on Chicago’s South Side. Its three-story Art Deco building drew students with a full lineup of honors classes, a nationally known music program and standout sports teams.

Nat King Cole played the piano in his classroom as a DuSable student. Harold Washington, Chicago’s first Black mayor, studied there. On Friday nights, teenagers zipped through its hallways on roller skates and danced in the gymnasium.

But at the turn of the millennium, enrollment plunged as Chicago closed a massive public housing complex nearby and a growing number of Black families left the city. Amid a national infatuation with smaller high schools 20 years ago, Chicago Public Schools conducted a grant-funded experiment to chop DuSable into three separate schools sharing a campus. U-Haul uses ‘Bait-and-Switch’ advertising, according to investigation by watchdog group

An investigation a consumer watchdog group, found U-Haul uses a “multifaceted, deceptive bait-and-switch pricing scheme” that hides the true cost of its truck rentals by omitting mandatory fees and charges from advertised pricing.

TINA said that, as a result, consumers nationwide are “being charged more than they bargained for, in violation of federal and state laws.”

Based on its findings, TINA filed a complaint last month with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and consumer protection officials in 20 states and the District of Columbia.

For more than 20 years, U-Haul has advertised truck rentals for as low as $19.95 a day for in-town moves. You’ve probably seen this offer plastered on its vehicles.
