CNN Blames Climate Change, Donald Trump’s Administration For Texas Floods

NEW YORK, NY - CNN anchor Dana Bash suggested that climate change and President Donald Trump’s administration were to blame for the disastrous flash flooding in Texas, asking Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) to weigh in on her assessment.

Castro joined Bash on Sunday morning’s broadcast of “State of the Union” to discuss the tragic situation that was still unfolding after heavy rains caused massive floods along the Guadalupe River in central Texas — where at least 69 have now been confirmed dead.

“How much do you think the changing climate is part of what we are seeing go on here, not just what we’re seeing in the pictures that we’re showing on the screen?” Bash asked. “But even the flood that you talked about in San Antonio in June.” Click here to read more.

Illinois nurse shortage fix is blocked by unions

Special interests again succeeded in keeping Illinois one of the few states that has not joined the Nurse Licensure Compact – a proven solution to health care staffing challenges and greater freedom for nurses wanting to practice in Illinois.

Nurses need just one license to practice in any state that is a member of the compact. Illinois requires nurses to take a test in the state and obtain a license that only allows them to practice in Illinois – leaving patients with fewer options and longer waits, plus leaving nurses with fewer career options and heavier workloads.

House Bill 1706 sponsored by state Rep. Yolonda Morris, D-Chicago, a certified nurse assistant, would have added Illinois to the Nurse Licensure Compact. It failed to make it out of committee for a full House vote this past legislative session, facing opposition from Illinois nursing unions that see the compact as a threat to their power. Baltimore police arrest juveniles, including 10-year-old, in armed robbery at bus stop

A man was robbed and assaulted by a group of juveniles and one adult in a stolen car, with the youngest person being a 10-year-old male, Baltimore police announced on Sunday.

Officials reported that on July 5 at around 8:24 p.m., police responded to an armed robbery at 1100 East Northern Parkway.

Once there, officials say they spoke with the victim, who stated that he was waiting at a bus stop when a maroon vehicle passed by. A short time later, two males and two females approached the victim, stating "Give me your phone," then proceeded to assault the man, take his backpack, and then leave the scene in the maroon vehicle.

The Aviation Unit, which operates helicopters, known as 'Foxtrot,' was requested and began searching the area when they located the maroon vehicle at the 1300 block of Gorsuch Avenue, officials said.

Units responded to that location and detained five suspects who were a 10-year-old male, two 13-year-old females, a 14-year-old male, and a 32-year-old male, according to police. Click here to read more.

How Hunter Biden Helped Derail His Father’s Reelection

June 2024 was going to be a momentous month for Joe Biden’s presidency: trips to France and Italy, a star-studded fundraiser in Los Angeles with Barack Obama, George Clooney and Julia Roberts, and the first debate against Donald Trump. But there was another matter at the top of the president’s mind. As Biden confided to a close friend, “The only thing I care about is that my son is not convicted.”

On June 3, Hunter Biden reported to a federal courthouse in Wilmington, Del., to face three felony charges for lying on a federal firearms application and possessing a gun while abusing drugs. Beyond the danger to Hunter’s liberty, the trial was sure to embarrass the Biden family, airing sordid secrets from the painful years after Hunter’s brother Beau Biden died of cancer.

Much of the public was unaware of the depths of turmoil within the Biden family—affairs, addiction, alcoholism—and now it would all spill out, five months before the election. To prove Hunter Biden was abusing drugs when he purchased the gun, prosecutors planned to call three star witnesses: his ex-girlfriend, whom he met when she was a stripper; his ex-wife, the mother of three of his daughters; and Beau’s widow, with whom he started a romantic relationship after his brother’s death. White Men No Longer Allowed at Lockheed Martin

Young white men are being persecuted for crimes they did not commit. Though history is rife with examples of white men enslaving and harming others, that is also true of the entire species.

There is nothing uniquely evil about white men. However, Lockheed Martin, one of the nation’s largest defense contractors, thinks otherwise.

Lockheed Martin doesn’t care about the fact that the white men it refuses to hire are perfectly innocent. The defense industry powerhouse is ignoring white men simply because that class of people has had the upper hand throughout history.

The suppression of white men, especially those 40 and under, is a large part of the reason why Donald Trump is back in power.

The Don’s return to the Oval Office in non-consecutive terms is rare. Only Grover Cleveland has accomplished the political feat.

White men identify with Trump as he projects strength as the nation’s leading patriarch. Trump has made no secret of the fact that his fellow white men have been ostracized from society and the workplace. Click here to read more.
