Michigan sues farmers over pigs that don’t exist

Michigan encroaches on pig farmers, Michigan rock legend Ted Nugent told the Michigan House's Weaponization of Government Subcommittee at a June 25 joint hearing.

The Department of Natural Resources claims that pig farmers breed feral pigs, which are illegal.

The department uses a faulty genetic test to determine feral pigs from nonferal pigs, according to Nugent's testimony.

Nugent told the committee that he and others have been sued over the issue.

“Well, for all of you who went to school in America, feral is an escaped domestic animal,” said Nugent. He told the legislators he is being sued for something that does not exist – that there is no such species as a Russian boar.

“A Russian boar can only be a male pig that lives in Russia – it’s not a species.” Click here to read more.

Biden Doc ‘Respectfully Declines’ To Answer Questions In ‘Cover-Up’ Deposition

Joe Biden’s White House physician, Kevin O’Connor, repeatedly declined to answer questions during a deposition before Congress on Wednesday as part of an investigation into the alleged “cover-up” of former president’s mental state and whether he authorized the use of autopen signatures for major executive actions.

Republicans who lead the House Oversight Committee released video of the closed-door interview showing O’Connor declaring his refusal to cooperate when pressed on whether he was ever told to lie about Biden’s health and if he ever believed Biden was unfit to executive his duties as president.

“On the advice of counsel,” O’Connor said each time, “I must respectfully decline to answer based upon the physician-patient privilege and in reliance on my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution. I am not a lawyer and I must follow my lawyer’s advice in this matter.” Click here to read more.

Teachers Union Resolves To Call Trump ‘Fascist,’ Support Student Protests Over ICE Raids

The largest teachers union in the United States has demanded that $3500 be set aside so that it can officially refer to President Donald Trump and his “programs and actions” as “fascist.”

Members of the National Education Association, during its annual convention, adopted a resolution that would have the group put up the cash so that all official NEA materials would “correctly characterize” the agenda of the Trump administration as “fascist.”

Corey DeAngelis shared several of the resolutions that were adopted by the NEA, saying in a Monday X post, “I just received a copy of the National Education Association’s resolutions that they passed at their annual convention. They kept them private this year.”

“The nation’s largest teachers union adopted a business item ‘to defend against Trump’s embrace of fascism by using the term facism [sic] in NEA materials correctly characterize Donald Trump’s program and actions,'” he added.

Just below that, under the heading of “Cost Implications,” the union asserted that it would cost $3500 for materials to be printed reflecting that change. Click here to read more.

🚨The Village of Birch Run, Michigan doesn’t record or live stream their public meetings. They’re not legally required to, but I think it would be something good to do for transparency. I talked to the village president who did not want to touch the issue.
