WASHINGTON D.C. - Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley revealed during a speech at the Hudson Institute on Wednesday that she plans to vote for former President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
“I put my priorities on a president who’s gonna have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies to account,” Haley said during her speech. “Who would secure the border, no more excuses. A president who would support capitalism and freedom. A president who understands we need less debt, not more debt. Trump has not been perfect on these policies, I’ve made that clear. Fatal overdoses in D.C., Maryland and Virginia are in keeping with the national increase in opioid fatalities, which until recently primarily claimed the lives of adults. In 2022, 45 teens succumbed to opioids locally, a number roughly equal to the previous three years combined, data show. Incomplete data for 2023 show no sign of the crisis abating among young people. BUFFALO, N.Y. — 9-year-old Deandre Coleman was honored by Buffalo Police and Mayor Byron Brown for his quick response to call police officers for help when his mom had a seizure at their house.
Deandre watched that very scary moment happen right in front of him in April, but rather than panicking when his mom needed help, Deandre remembered what his dad always told him.
“If anybody has a seizure, if there’s any cops around, ask them for help,” Deandre said. Click here to read more.
