

Lawmaker calls for audit of Michigan child care program after Minnesota fraud scandal
Senate Republican Leader Aric Nesbitt has asked the state’s independent auditor general to investigate Michigan’s Child Development and Care Program amid allegations that Minnesota’s child care program is plagued by fraud.
After a YouTuber with a camera alleged fraud in Minnesota, Gov. Tim Walz announced that he would not run for reelection. The video has been watched more than 138 million times. Police chief cries, admits DHS was right about Tren de Aragua connection in CBP shooting
Portland Police Chief Bob Day became emotional when he acknowledged the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was right about Tren de Aragua ties in a shooting involving two people and the Customs and the Border Protection.
DHS described Luis David Nino Moncada and Yorlenys Betzabeth Zambrano-Contreras as "criminal illegal aliens" from Venezuela.
The agency said Moncada is a suspected Tren de Aragua gang member, while Zambrano-Contreras is associated with the violent gang.

The Minnesota Fraud Scandal Is Just the Tip of the Iceberg

Florida woman accused of posing on donation sites as father of Houston teen killed in Texas flood
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A Florida woman has been charged after records say she created donation pages pretending to be for the family of a 2025 Texas Flood victim.
What we know:
Harris County court records confirm 28-year-old Maitlin White of Crestview, Florida, has been charged with two counts of Online Impersonation.
According to a detective, White made a GoFundMe page and a SpotFund page pretending to be the father of Chloe Childress, a Houston 19-year-old who died in Kerr County, Texas, while serving as a counselor at Camp Mystic.
Records say Childress' father alerted authorities about a fake GoFundMe campaign that was using his name, Chloe's picture, and a bio of their tragedy. The page was allegedly asking the public for donations to support Chloe's family. Click here to read more.
