FLINT, MICH - One of my subscribers tipped me off that Genesee County, Michigan is requiring employees to take Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training.
See the email below that went out to employees:

The training is called “How Was Your Day? Getting Real about Unconscious Bias, Diversity, Inclusion and Harrassment.”
The email to employees says they will have 60 days to complete the training.
A section of the email that went out to employees urges people to “embrace diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Genesee County even has this diversity, equity and inclusion commission.

President Donald Trump has taken steps to eliminate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the federal government. On his first day back in office, he signed an order ending DEI programs, with hiring and promotion now to be based solely on merit. Federal agencies are phasing out these programs, diversity training is being canceled, and related offices are being closed. These actions reflect a significant shift from the previous administration's policies.
Michigan State Senator Jim Runestad sent a letter to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, urging her administration to follow President Donald J. Trump’s lead and “immediately halt all Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies related to hiring, training, and spending practices.” Runestad, R-White Lake, argued that Michigan should replace DEI with Merit, Excellence, and Intelligence (MEI) initiatives to improve government effectiveness and efficiency.
I reached out to Genesee County for a comment but I have not heard back from anyone.
